Evaluation Process & Awards

The competition evaluation is conducted in two stages:

First Stage (Competency Award): The Selection Committee evaluates all applications to determine which entries are eligible for international competitions, including the WPO WorldStar and APF-AsiaStar Competitions. These qualifying entries are granted the 'Competency 2026 Award.'

Second Stage (Ranked Awards): The 'Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards' are determined by the Selection Committee during the second stage, selected exclusively from the packaging designs that have already secured the 'Competency 2026 Award.'

TSE Gold Packaging AwardsIn collaboration with the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), 'Gold Packaging Awards' will also be presented. From among the Gold Award winners in the Crescents and Stars for Packaging Competition, the Selection Committee will choose a maximum of three (3) recipients for this prestigious additional honor in categories deemed appropriate.

Award CeremonySpecially designed trophies for the winners will be presented at the award ceremony, which is scheduled to take place in Istanbul in November 2026.
